The NXXT Women’s Pro Tour, a pioneering platform for female professional golfers, today addresses the public conversation surrounding the recent victory of transgender golfer Hailey Davidson.
The NXXT Women’s Pro Tour was established with the mission to elevate women’s golf, providing increased exposure and equitable opportunities. In line with this vision, NXXT recently launched the groundbreaking TEAM Golf format that fosters camaraderie, showcases collective talent, and adds a thrilling new dimension to the sport. This initiative complements our overarching goal of creating an inclusive and nurturing environment for all members. This innovative format, drawing inspiration from LIV Golf, offers players the unique opportunity to compete in both individual and team championships. The NXXT Teams Golf concept is a testament to our dedication to progressive transformation in the sport, creating an exciting new platform that promises to captivate current fans and attract future generations.
Since its inception, the NXXT Women’s Pro Tour has been steadfast in its commitment to enhancing the landscape of women’s professional golf. Recognizing the lack of playing opportunities in North America, NXXT was founded to fill this void. Our investment in this vision has not only created a thriving competitive space for female golfers but also fostered a groundbreaking partnership with the LPGA. This collaboration has resulted in offering ten valuable exemptions to the Epson Tour, providing our players with a tangible pathway towards achieving their dreams of competing in the LPGA.
The NXXT Women’s Pro Tour’s policies, especially concerning gender, have been formulated in alignment with those of the LPGA and USGA. This approach is crucial in maintaining the integrity of our partnership with the LPGA and ensuring a fair and consistent competitive environment. When Hailey Davidson joined the tour, she complied with these policies by providing necessary documentation, including validation from the LPGA and USGA, which also facilitated her participation in the 2022 Q-School.
The recent discussions surrounding Hailey Davidson’s participation and success on our tour have highlighted a range of viewpoints. The NXXT Women’s Pro Tour acknowledges these perspectives while emphasizing that our policies and decisions are guided by the frameworks set by the LPGA and USGA. Our primary focus remains on supporting our players' aspirations and contributing to their journey towards the LPGA.
Reaffirms Commitment to Inclusivity and Excellence in Women’s Golf
Recognizing the spectrum of views on this issue, we wish to highlight that our decisions are guided by what is best for our players, setting aside personal beliefs. Part of our commitment is ensuring an environment that is inclusive and safe for all members. In light of recent events, we have initiated a poll among our tour players to gather their opinions on our gender policy. We believe it is vital to consider the perspectives of those directly affected by these policies.
Furthermore, in maintaining the integrity of our standards, we have requested Hailey Davidson to undergo additional testosterone testing to ensure compliance with the appropriate guidelines.
We understand that this topic evokes strong feelings and diverse viewpoints. We encourage constructive dialogue and respect for all athletes who strive to compete at the highest levels of their sport.
We are committed to upholding the highest standards of the sport, supporting our players’ aspirations, and fostering a respectful and inclusive atmosphere that embraces innovative changes. We appreciate the passion and commitment of our golfing community and remain dedicated to providing a platform that upholds the integrity of women's professional golf.
We want to assure the public and all stakeholders that we are dedicated to transparency and thoroughness in addressing this matter. As we continue to gather and analyze more information, we commit to providing further updates when they become available and relevant. Our focus remains steadfast on diligently working to ensure the most accurate and up-to-date information is shared.

Men are not women. It is heartbreaking to see a bunch of professional women throw away and completely disrespect what other professional women have busted our asses to create for these young women. We worked tirelessly, women, like Ruth Bader Ginsburg did not work, her entire life to give us the privileges that we have for you assholes to give it away to a bunch of men who suddenly decide that they want to cut off their dick and have a vagina. That is not a woman. That’s an imposter that’s a fake. This same man in 1970, not 100 years ago, not 200 years ago, not 300 years ago, had to SIGN for a woman to HAVE A LIFE.…
No amount of testosterone testing will change the fact that Hailey was born male and, as a mammal, cannot change his sex. He, nor any other man, should not be competing in the women’s category. Allowing men in women’s sport is wrong. It is not inclusive. It damages women, girls and the sport itself.
Stuart- I appreciate that you've opened this up for input and feedback. The NXXT Tour is, as written above, "a pioneering platform for female professional golfers." Will you be sharing the results in aggregate of the surveys? I can appreciate the confidential nature of individual surveys, but wouldn't it be constructive to let everyone know how female professional golfers actually feel about this situation? If the input you've received from your players is not the decisive factor in how the Tour handles this going forward, then can you truly stand by that statement? What other stakeholder interest would override the interests of the female professional golfers on your Tour, or those that aspire to be on your Tour? Will sp…
Keyboard warriors at their best. Everyone is so threatened in throwing slander and slurs around when they know little to no facts about the trans community and what they go through as a whole.
I am not sure what additional information you need to gather and analyse. World Rugby has conducted exhaustive research that any serious professional sporting body could rely on to back up a decision to segregate sports on the basis of sex. Men do not lose their physical advantage if their testosterone is suppressed. They retain all the advantages of a body that has experienced male puberty. People who privilege fair play over vacuous appeals for 'inclusion' can see straight through NXXT Golf's cynicism. The only aspirations taken into account are those of a man who thinks he's a woman. He's not. Women are not a feeling in a man's head. It's easy to give away other people's rights. S…
