The NXXT Women’s Pro Tour Winter Series launched with an electrifying season kickoff at the stunning Club Adena in Ocala, Florida, where top talent from around the globe gathered for an unforgettable start to the season. The event witnessed spectacular performances, capped by a scorching new course record from our champion, Annabelle Pancake, who fired an impressive 8-under-par in the final round. Annabelle's exceptional play led to an exhilarating 4-hole playoff, where she edged out two-time NXXT champion Maria Bohorquez of Colombia, securing her spot at the top of the Drive to the LPGA Player of the Year standings.
The excitement started early, with rookie Yoo Min Byun-Archer delivering a memorable moment on Day 1 by sinking a spectacular hole-in-one on the 203-yard, par-3 6th hole. This incredible shot set the tone for what would be an event filled with standout moments and inspiring performances.
This thrilling opening event featured a diverse field with competitors hailing from 12 countries, including the USA, Canada, Mexico, South Africa, Austria, China, South Korea, Ireland, France, the Philippines, Germany, and Japan. These top athletes set the stage for an exciting Winter Series season, showcasing some of the finest talents vying for a chance at the LPGA’s Epson Tour exemptions and the coveted Q-School financial assistance awarded to the top three in the Player of the Year standings.
The Winter Series, running from November through March 2025, includes 13 championship events across Florida. In an exciting partnership with the LPGA, the NXXT Tour offers 10 Epson Tour exemptions to the winners of the final five season-ending events. The season opener at Club Adena—a true test of skill with its renowned course design and challenging holes, including Florida’s longest par 5 at a staggering 747 yards—provided the ideal backdrop for this year's thrilling kickoff.
The series culminates back at Club Adena from March 25-27, 2025, with a grand finale boasting a $50,000 purse. At this season-closing event, the top players of the year will be awarded, and the final two Epson Tour exemptions will be up for grabs.
