Mohan Du Captures Her First North American Title as NXXT Golf Builds a Year-Round Platform for Inclusive Professional Golf

March 2025 | Miami, FL – NXXT Golf is redefining the future of professional golf. With the second installment of its Battle of the Sexes Tour delivering yet another thrilling finale, the organization has officially announced its plans to expand the series into a full-time tour—while continuing to elevate the NXXT Women’s Pro Tour as a leading platform for elite female professionals.

At Battle of the Sexes II, hosted at Rio Pinar Golf Club, men and women went head-to-head for the same title and purse, proving once again that skill—not gender—defines the best players in the game. The competition was fierce, with the top 10 evenly split between men and women. But when the final putt dropped, China’s Mohan Du emerged victorious, securing her first professional win in North America and cementing the women’s second straight victory in the series.

"This win is a defining moment for me," said Du. "The NXXT Women’s Pro Tour has prepared me for this stage, and now, competing on the Battle of the Sexes Tour is pushing me even further. The level of play, the energy, the excitement—it’s everything I’ve worked for."

A Vision Turned Reality: The Birth of a Full-Time Tour

The success of Battle I & II has fueled an even bigger vision: a year-round, fully structured Battle of the Sexes Tour.

“We’ve seen proof that this format is not only viable but game-changing,” said Stuart McKinnon, CEO of NXXT Golf. “The demand from players, the engagement from fans, and the interest from sponsors all point in one direction—this tour belongs in the global golf landscape.”

While the Battle of the Sexes Tour expands, NXXT Golf remains steadfast in its commitment to the NXXT Women’s Pro Tour—the organization’s flagship series dedicated to advancing women’s professional golf. By offering Epson Tour exemptions, NXXT continues to be a critical pathway for women looking to take their careers to the next level.
