November 18-20, 2024 - Rio Pinar Golf Club, Orlando, FL
The NXXT Women’s Pro Tour Winter Series continued with another thrilling chapter at the historic Rio Pinar Golf Club in Orlando, Florida. Building on her remarkable performance at Club Adena, Annabelle Pancake once again delivered a stellar performance, capturing her second consecutive title with a dominant score of -10 over three rounds.
Navigating the tight, tree-lined fairways of Rio Pinar, Pancake showcased precision and poise, closing with a final round of 68 to seal her victory. Her efforts held off a surging Ashley Lau of Malaysia, who posted a brilliant 66 on the final day to finish just two strokes behind at -8. The Philippines’ Tomita Arejola rounded out the podium with a dazzling 67 in the final round, finishing at -5.
Annabelle’s mother, Libby Pancake, was instrumental in this week’s success, stepping in as caddy and following her father Tony’s standout performance last week. Libby’s presence and support helped ensure the Pancake family’s streak of victories continued.
With back-to-back wins, Annabelle holds a firm lead atop the NXXT Drive to the LPGA Player of the Year standings, setting the pace for what promises to be an exciting season.
The tournament featured a truly international field, with competitors from 12 countries, including the United States, Canada, Mexico, South Africa, Austria, China, South Korea, Ireland, France, the Philippines, Germany, and Lithuania. The diversity and level of talent on display further underscored the growing global appeal of the NXXT Women’s Pro Tour.
Looking ahead, the excitement continues with the highly anticipated NXXT Battle of the Sexes, set for December 9-10, 2024, at Orange County National. This groundbreaking event will see men and women compete together in a unified, gender-neutral field. Women will play from LPGA yardages, while their male counterparts will compete from PGA yardages. This first-of-its-kind format in North America promises to be a thrilling showcase of talent, strategy, and sportsmanship.
The Winter Series runs through March 2025, culminating in a grand finale at Club Adena with a $50,000 purse. Thanks to the NXXT Women’s Pro Tour’s partnership with the LPGA, the series offers 10 Epson Tour exemptions throughout the season, providing life-changing opportunities for players on their journey to the LPGA.
